Sensei Tim Rosanelli, 5th Degree Black Belt

Sensei Timothy Rosanelli started studying karate in 1980 at the age of 9 and continues to study under some of the most notable instructors in the United States. In 1998, he competed as a member of the US team in the Japan Karate Association World Championship held in Bern, Switzerland. More recently, he has completed course work for his teaching certification with the renowned Karate Instructor Program at Long Island University and is a certified karate instructor with the American Japan Karate Association. Sensei Rosanelli currently holds the rank of Fifth Degree Black Belt which he earned through Tom Callos’s Ultimate Black Belt Test.

Sensei Rosanelli has developed an excellent karate curriculum that is tailored to target each age group for maximum results. His classes focus on motivating students to strive for excellence in everything they do and emphasizes the values of respect, courtesy, and self-control by building camaraderie among students.

Certified as a FAST Defense Instructor, he also teaches the FAST Defense system of self-defense which was rated Best in the Martial Arts Industry by Black Belt Magazine. The seminars focus on scenario based training that uses verbal strategies to avoid and de-escalate situations and use assertive communication to ensure that you are not a good victim for a predator. The kid’s version is called FAST Cats that teaches children assertive communication skills and boundary-setting that is age appropriate and intended to avoid and de-escalate bullying before it happens.

Sensei Ester Sabidussi, 2nd Degree Black Belt

Other Information:
Sensei Ester Sabidussi started her training in 1996. Her story is one of true martial arts triumph. In 1994, Sensei Ester was plagued by a serious back problem that final resulted in surgery. After battling back from the crippling surgery, she was interested in getting in shape, but most exercise inflamed her back. She had almost given up until she decided to try karate.

Ester soon discovered that karate helped her increase her strength and flexibility and restored the level of health that she once enjoyed.

In July 2003, she earned the rank of first degree black belt through the American Japan Karate Association.
